Another bulb/ HID question

Featured Replies

Sorry if its been talked about already but I can't find the right answer.

I've got a vRS 11 plate and its got the chrome headlights, as mentioned before the headlights aren't that good. Its got a dipped beam bulb and a separate high/ full beam. So if the dipped beam bulb a H4 or H7, I'm thinking of getting a HID kit, do i need a special canbus kit or will a cheap ebay kit do. like these

Both bulbs are H7

You will definately need a cambus kit.

I fitted one to mine but be aware that it might be ilegal.

Thanks mate. Yeh I understand about the legalities behind it.

So you have fitted them, are you happy with them?

Very satisfied.

I have use the upgraded bulbs, Osram Nightbreaker, but there is no comparison.

The light output from HID,s is so much greater.

Provided you have your lights set corectly there should be no problems.
