ECU Repairs

Featured Replies

Has anyone had one before?

I have the dreaded ECU error with Engine Warning Light and Emissions light constantly on. I have already had the 24k5 update. The only option left for me is to pay Skoda £1600 for a new ECU when the car runs perfectly fine! Which I am not to happy about doing.

I am thinking of an ECU repair to see if that fixes the problem. Has anyone had this before?

Huh? Have you had any codes read??

Yes, It's the P0601 internal checksum error in the ECU

Did you buy the car new? FMDSH?

Car is not under warranty anymore. Was purchased privately and have owned the car for 2 n half years. The error has been on my dash for about a year now.
