I Have Fitted An Allard EGR Delete Pipe On My ASZ PD130 Engine, Do I Need To Block Vac Pipes?

Featured Replies

after searching here and google for half an our, do i just block the two pipes with a couple of bolts? or does it make no difference if they run to atmospere. i fitted the delete pipe last night and got the engine management light tonight, so tonight i blocked the two pipes, is this ok? Someone please answer as I cant find a DEFINATE answer!

I blocked the one vaccuum pipe when I did my EGR block (I kept the anti-shudder valve in case of engine runaway.

My methd of blocking the pipe off was to find a suitable sized bolt, and "screw" it into the end of the time, and then nip up a jubilee clip around it.

i fitted an allard delete kit, so i've got two spare pipes, i've blocked them both and the light is on again, considering re-fitting the EGR after cleaning it!

Have you scanned to see what fault codes are logged? They might not be related to your recent EGR delete....

They are from the EGR yes, the light came on whether the vac pipes are open or blocked...
