Cars just clocked over 70,000 miles so along with the usual oil change etc I was going to do the gearbox oil, I read the capacity is 2.5l can anyone confirm this please. Also is there any brands you'd recommend, I was looking at Castrol Syntrax Longlife 75W-90.

Get the proper stuff from the dealer or TPS. I think you need about 1.5l and two bottles are enough of the official stuff.

I think it is 2.5lt.......I used Millers Motorsport gearbox oil.....a bit recalcitrant when cold ....but sweet when warm!!!!! Also get the gearbox oil warm (hot run) before you drain...also leave to drain for about 1hr!!
