Mini Countryman - 236 on Autotrader

Featured Replies

Just had a quick search on autotrader and there are 236 on offer!

Cheapest one being a 2010 Mini One with Pepper pack - OTC now at £18410, offered at £14981 with 2500 miles, likewise there are delivery milaege one with Pepper pack for £15990.

Apart from the frankenstein look, are they not as desirable as the normal Mini, because the depreciation seems to be quite steep!

They are also bigger & uglier than a traditional Mini emoticon-0120-doh.gif

Overpriced and pig ugly.

Wouldn't have one if it was free.

A friend of mine traded in his MINI Cooper S automatic for a boggo standard non metallic dark blue low spec low powered diesel manual one (albeit with sat nav)....... He does not let on that he made a HUGE mistake but hell that car is awful. It must have the most awfully uncomfortable front seats known to man!!! Flat and hard and you can't alter the pitch of the base at all. Pig ugly too as some mentioned above. And that Fisher Price toy interior...............

To be honest I thought about a Countryman All4, not for long right enough!!

Expensive to start with then your extras, which I was informed was part of the buying experience. I have to say some of the options are very well priced, TLC pack which is 5 yrs servicing £200 and probably one of the best sat navs systems around for £900 however some of the packs are just short of £3k. I was looking at one in the dealers and it was very nice but it was loaded with extras and was £27995 :(

On the downside a stupidly small boot, a like it or loathe it interior and there are stacks of them about.

Slightly OT here but ....

My neighbour has just got a mini CM,

Is it mean't to look like it's gonna topple at the first sharp bend, or has a dipstick left the transit blocks in there.

It gets good use as intended up and down the M4 all day ??:|

Know what you mean, looks like its on its tip toes! Doesn't look planted at all and this was one of the things that put me off it, it just looked like a jacked up Mini, I suppose thats what it actually though.:D

Kind of like the vile Audi all roader things then

I test drove a Mini Countryman All4 Cooper S before I tried the Yeti. Having driven & owned a BMW Cooper & Cooper S I had thought that it might be similar........in some ways.....perhaps. I was pretty disapponted. I find the Yeti much better.

Probably as quick (1.8tsi) & the road holding is pretty good. Better interior I think & lots of toys to play with.

We'll see how it goes

I am just surprised at the depreciation - as a Mini, it should hold its value quite well - obviously not in this case.

I have a friend with a 1.8tsi CM. He loves it, thinks it's great to drive.

It is farkin ugly though, and I personally didn't think the interior was very good. Not worth the cash imho.

Each to their own, I like 'em!

It's fine if people like them, beauty is in the eye etc. I wonder though, as a piece of design if it is actually any good? If it had a Perodua badge on, would it have been accepted as well compared to everyone knowing it's from the Mini stable?

The other week when I was at the Yorkshire Big Breakfast, there was a Mini coupe. It looked stupid to be honest and the first thought I has was that it's another piece of tat to sell gullible people who love to wear a badge, not necessarily look good.

I then had a coffee and a bacon sandwich and decided to take another look. It was still as annoying and pointless, but the bacon sandwich was nice.
