the 400r is a poor handling car unless tuned to 600hp + far better to buy a used r32 and wind it up....

scoob sti r coupe is a good base also... set the diff back to 80% rear!

I've got the 400r up to 500 bhp, started to get the handle of it last night, got to give it more of a go tonight

i like my RS4 personally, 650bhp + NOS and everything elswe thrown at it. goes well indeed

btw a very quick way of making money is to get your A licence and do the second(light blue) rally, quite easy to win and gets you a few K per race(2 of) and you win a 265K car

The BMW M5 is no where near is driveable as the Merc E55 AMG.

Yeah, I drove the M5 first, road the Ring, found it quite difficult to control (got up to 175mph on the straights though  ). I find that the Subaru Impreza Sti with 276bhp seems to handle much better, once again, I can't speak about real life :(

This game is awesome though

Just purchased a new Nissan Skyline GT-R V spec II Nur (whatever that means). It's the white one with the black bonnet that only comes in white with a black bonnet.

It's a commendable vehicle even without any tuning in place. A true GT classic.

BTW has anyone tried GT4 B Spec? where you play as a team manager and give instructions to the drivers? No?

nurburgring

Can you buy and drive a Mk2 Golf GTi in this game?

no

mk1 4 or 5

cheers Paul

The B spec mode allows you to compete in races even if you haven't passed the necessary licence tests. Also a quick way of winning races as you can speed the race up by a factor of three.

Although you don't always win them, and if you leave it on level 5 (push hard) the computer controls the car as if you were not letting up and will keep on crashing.

However it does depend on the skill points you have with your driver. I have noticed my driver getting better and better doing the same race (to get me lots of moolah). Crashes less and less and always wins.

Best to check the status screen on the right and see your drivers points

at the most put it at 4 with over take on

So can you transfer credits won in B Spec over to the A Spec game?

credits are applied everywhere, no matter what spec you do it in.

I am currently racking up 120,000 credits in b spec in a matter of 10 minutes :) using VX220 turbo fully tuned up on the World Compact cup and with speed on 3x. I can browse intertron and get free cash :)

Its breaks down to 7500 per race x5

30000 for winning championship and then a 53000 honda s800 RSC race car '68 :)

Good info Dave, thanks

 s'alrite
