on my l&k it comes with a chrome insert on the shift knob - after 140k, my ring rubbing against my knob has taken its toll :(

so I decided to remove the insert and vinyl wrap it...

I quite like how it picks out the colour of the dash also!

He's put tape on his gear knob that matches the dash design!

I think wrapping your knob is definitely the safe option

Just make sure it doesn't split, as that could be fraught with danger, and could end up being a costly mistake :(

Its not the size that counts, its how you shift with it

Just remember to grip firmly and give it a good tug to get the right results.
