Featured Replies

As title says looking to turn my 180bhp fabia tuned by jabbasport into a hybrid was looking on turbo technics web nd see they do a 150 hybrid for the leon now before I buy it a thought ad ask if anyone else has any better bits for sourcen turbos ano jabba do them but the price is kinda steep at just over a grand! HELP lol! Also is there any other places tht would be recomended as I was just goin to go back to jabba but as I am in southwest scotland a was thinkin something closer to home! Help would be appricated! Also lookin at wat sort of figures a would be looking at.

Buy a second hand PD 130/150 turbo (GT1749VA/B) and send it to CR turbos to get it hybridised. Think tehy charge £600.

Don't bother trying to send your current KKK unit, I believe they won't touch it........

A hybrid from turbo technics is only 600 quid alll in plus the KKK destroyed itself lastnyt :( L

So £600 and you dont have to give back your original unit??? :o

hmmm..... If thats the case bonus is coming up early next year :p

Really?? So £600 for a PD150 turbo that's definitley hybrid? But they require your old unit? Is that plus VAT?

looking at their site the turbo listings are interesting.

PD130 hybrid they have as part code S210 no mention of power

PD150 hybrid they have as part code S211 - max 210HP

£75 added to bill pending return AND inspection of old turbo

and prices are ex VAT,

just continued reading and S210 is £610 and S211 £500 :o dont understand!

it gets worse if you look through the price list you will see that the same turbo part code - S210 for example varies in price from £496 to £610

verry odd.

good prices though

seems strange

I think its like that on Turbo Dynamics too though. I might just stick with Turbo Centre UK when I get mine, £750 for a stage 2 (Saab impeller wheel?) hybrid PD150

Im sure its ether a typo, or there is something special about the more expensive one. Im sure them saying "aaaaaauugh its just better" will make people spend the extra dosh :giggle:
