How do I display miles/time to service-non maxidot

Featured Replies

My car is only 1 month/2700 miles old. I've not got maxidot, how can I see how long until a service is due? I know I'll get a spanner symbol once I'm close, however, I work away alot and do a high mileage and would prefer to keep the servicing local.

Thanks,

Ian

I will say it now so the unhelpful sods might not bother but it is listed in manual.

But half the random stuff I seek on here is also and I personally can't be bothered to go and get it out :giggle:

I have a link here and it has 2 methods in it I am sure the second one will work fine on yours to turn the left of your little button things by speedo to side if not try the other way.

Hi Fubar, Thanks for the reply. Believe me I have looked on the manual and searched on here! The manual only tells you to use the trip button. Doesn't tell you to turn it left or right to scroll through, hour adjust-minute adjust-time/miles to service. I'd tried the button but given up as soon as it appeared to be for adjusting the clock!

Thanks again.

Ian

I think, with the ignition on and engine off, you press the button in for a few seconds. (i.e. keep holding it even though it'll reset the trip thing to 0.. it'll put it back to what it was then display what you are looking for)

Open car door. Turn knob to the left. Nothing else needed in my car.B)

lol they don't make it straight forward do they. I think it would be better if it just came up on screen when starting car like my old 406 used to
