Not being a frequent reader of Max Power (in fact, never read one, not even at the dentist ), but is it true one of the writers/journo's/boy racers is having a vRS done? Does anyone know where I can find some info on this?

IIRC The editor's current car is a black vRS - so far it's been tinted, ICE upgraded and a DVD player and 5 or so screens installed.

Nothing about it in this month's issue though. So I've been told

They seem to have been fairly positive about it (rather than dismissing it as "just a Skoda") - although they list the Octy in their "car guide" along the lines of "Seriously fast if that means anything". They need to make their minds up!

I sometimes run into the guy who runs "Skoda Events" (Mike Davies I think) he told me earlier on in the year about the editor of M.P. having an RS (Thought it was a white one though) Chipped to 230 BHP alledgedly !!

Suppose we will see next month.

I've been reliably informed (same investigator as on the Fast Car UK Annual case) that this months Max Power has one page dedicated to the ICE install into one of the editor's vRS.

Unless he's changed it since I last looked (the mag too cringeworthy) then the editor of MP has a red RS.

Looks like a very early one (it's reg is very close to mine) and had the 16". It did have an AMD chip in it and a WRC wing and 18" wheels were planned.
