The smart money is, if possible coming back down to 14" - by doing that you save money and get better grip as the aspect ratio goes up and the tyre width comes down, in extreme cases, going back down to 13" would be even better - but looks a bit cack. For what its worth, I ended up just coming back down to 14" on my wife's Polo 9N although my tyre guy said if I was really serious about remaining mobile in winter, I should get 13" wheels with something like 165 tyres.Obviously brake disc size will limit how far down you go wheel diameter wise - what do Skoda suggest for winter wheel/tyre sizes?

I would rather stick with 15". Mytyres have different sizes on it's data base for my car.
