Just back after 5 days in Wales and 500+ miles in some pretty wet conditions but enjoyed some great walks on several beaches and only got heavily rained on once when walking.Stayed in a pretty remote spot but superb accomodation (Natural Retreats Lleyn).

Really enjoyed getting to know Yorkie who is great to drive and the higher up position is a bonus. DSG box is as I had on my Octavia but gather this will adapt to by driving style as it does not seem to change up a gear as quickly.

Thought you might like to see a photo or two.

Black Rock Sands are huge and great for driving on even if you are an 8 year old girl driving a Range rover sitting on mummys knee!

Tried to get wonderwoman to lie down in the middle of the turning circle photo to give an idea of scale but not too keen!

On way home we looked across to Snowdon the sharp bit in the middle.

Terfyn you live in a spledid part of Wales. Next time perhaps a bit further South and central to Grahams part of the country.

I think God likes it there too!! Certainly lots of chapels.

Can you legally drive on the beaches or did you sneak on, snap pics and leg it before you got caught?

Edit: just had a looks on google and there's loads of cars on the beach so I guess I've answered my own question.
