As announced in the Limited Edition Register, I have recently bought VRS SE #874

A small thing that is puzzling me is what was once mounted to these holes in the engine bay adjacent to the header tank?

The holes look original, and there is a witness mark of something being mounted there.

Had a look at an engine bay picture of my old 2006 vRS. Same two holes and nothing mounted there. I had the car from new and removed nothing from there. If I knew how to put a picture up I would do so.

Nout mounted there from factory, so could have been anything.

Might be something needed for left hand drive cars and its not worth changing the actual chassis plan for each?
