My car has failed the mot on front brake inbalance, after a few tests etc it looks like I need a new front caliper.

Skoda cannot supply a n/s one at the moment plus no delivery date, so as things stand the car is off the road.

Just checking would a Golf mk4 one fit all ok.

As long as its an ATE caliper, yes

Most likely cause is the inner seal going old and hard causing the piston to stick! A new set of inner seals and outer dust skirts can be bought from a Skoda parts place £15 for an axle.....then about 1.5hrs work fidling around with it to fit the new ones!
