Morning folks. My Octy has a problem with its drivers side window. The one touch function seems to check in and out of its own accord. Sometimes it'll only go down on its own, sometimes only up, sometimes both and sometimes not at all. I seem to recall reading about this before i bought my car, as if it's a common fault. How do i fix it?

iirc in order to get one-touch to work, you need to ensure you get full travel on the switch?

I had this on my VRS when I bought it. To fix the problem you have to remove the switch assembly, strip it down & clean the switch contacts with Isopropal or contact cleaner on the PCB.

I always found it to be awkward, and very sensitive to how far and how long you held the switch, so even when it's working right there's a knack to find.
