vRS ASR light & dials flashing?

Hi.

I picked up my vRS on friday privately, during a journey the ASR light will come on and stay on.. and also the dials will flicker now and again.

However when I turn the ignition off and turn back on the ASR light is back off.

Can anyone shed any light on this problem?

I would try and disconnect the ASR button from the plug connector. See if it still flickers on the dash. If it doesnt try a new push button switch first.

Number one trip will reset after two hours of not having the ignition on.

To change the mpg you press the lil button under the wiper stalk
