Skoda Superb MKII vs digger (JCB type)

Featured Replies

Found this on UTUBE.......painfull.... :'( .....to watch as looks new.......no reason for this being crushed......but there are other videos up of similar treatment to other Skodas!......Maybe a "destruction of criminals property" order???

Edited by fabdavrav

when they brought it in, it looks like the airbags had already been deployed

I can think of a valid reason to destroy such a nice looking car. At least break it for spares

Had a closer big screen look.....yep all the air bags have gone of including the dash!!...so WTF???...is going one???? :S

And as you say why not break for spares.......the cost of a totally undented body, wheels, lights, etc..... :o

3min 50 seconds, shows you how to release the bonnet if the catch goes on the blink....

... But in all seriousness, WHY?! :|

Al.

The guy obviously thought he couldn't make the rear end look any worse than Skoda already did :giggle: which is why he left it alone!

bit pointless though

They must have something against Skoda, after the video ends you also have them do this to a latest Octavia Scout and a Fabia Break.

They are probably test and devlopment mules/early prototypes for Skoda. They are not suitable for resale and have to be disposed of.

They get this kind of treatment to make sure they are beyond economical repair and so that they do not end up on the road again. Then they are then sold for scrap.

This is standard practice among all car maunfacturers.

Cheers

Steve

I wonder if the car had a name......like christine for example!!

using google translate on the three videos, it maybe for fire brigade training
