Octavia - Rubber Mats

Featured Replies

When I got my Octy VRS this summer I had some rubber mats in with teh deal, I popped them in a few weeks ago for the winter and whilst they do a good job, they dont want to sit on the tabs very well.

They arent like the carpets ones that clip onto the pins in the carpet, these rubber ones seem to sit on the pins, but then they come off, move around etc

I spoke to my dealer about them and as my car is going in next week for a couple of jobs then they are going to see what I mean, but really I want them to 'clip' on to the pins.

My Octy is a Mk2 face lift, but the mats have the older style 'Octavia' badge imprinted into them i.e. for pre-FL cars, but the floor pan etc is the same so it shouldnt make a difference, just wondered if anyone else had similar issues?

Thanks, James.

check these out -argos code 740/0122 luxury car mats dropped from 19.99 to 9.99 -full size luxury mats .

You just need to push them down into the tabs in the floor a bit more firmly. They're only really held down by the friction between the rubber mat and the tab in the floor.

Have no problem with mine which also have the old style octavia font. They don't move an inch.
