Replacement shocks

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am looking to get some replacement shocks and lower the car a bit.

I was thinking of going with H&R 20mm lowering springs and Koni FSD shocks, however whilst researching came across the following shocks,

Bilstein B4

Bilstein B8 and

Monroe Sensa trac.

I am looking for a shock that would be a bit firmer than stock and I do not want to go lower than the 20mm. Also not interested in coil-overs.

Has anyone any experience with any of the above shocks?

Thanks

Anyone? :(

I know a few people who will only fit Bilstein shocks to their cars. I don't have personal experience of them though. I went for cheap coilovers and am regretting it now.

Tempted to change to H&R springs and either Bilstein B8 or FSDs

Or H&R coilovers.

I had koni fsd and hr springs and was very impressed

H&R springs and FSD's on mine good combo, but if i were to do the shocks again would go for the Bilsteins, always found them to be firmer
