Looks like my vRS will be ready for pick up next Wednesday .

Have been reading up on everyone elses experiences on picking up their cars and I totaly cant wait to get mine. It will be the first new car Ive had where I'm not going to drive like a pensioner till the engines broken in, from what Ive read its better just to drive normally. Will also be powering it will Shell V Power, the nearest Shell garage is about 10 miles away, but that will just give me an excuse to drive it more.

The thing Im looking forward to the most is seeing it as Ive yet to come across a black hatch with black alloys and the black pack. I've only ever seen 3 vRS's the road, 2 blues and a green, and IMO you have to look twice to tell them apart form normal Fabias so I'm hoping the all black appearence makes it look a bit more aggresive.

I'll post pics when I stop driving it for long enough to take them

Oooh. Anybody with a green or blue VRS care to disagree. Personally I like the green a lot, very easy to spot and easily recognisable as a VRS. Anyway hope you enjoy your new motor.

I'd say green is easiest to spot! Mind you, apart from at a dealers I've only seen a blue one and a white one on the road.

One of the biggest appeals to me of the vRS is the 'Q-car' factor.

Green is by far the easiest to spot - not that I'm biased in any way shape or form (Green vRS owner by the way lol )

I've seen a red vRS and a black vRS but they do take a second or third glance to tell apart from a normal Fabia, whereas the green vRS I spotted a mile off

DRL's normally give it away then the wheels or fancy colour

Just spotted a green one (estate) in a hospital car park - stood out like a sore thumb - it caught my attention from 100yds away!

Dont get me wrong, if there had been a green one with black alloys on the system I would probably have picked that over black. I originally ordered a red estate with black alloys, but with the 5 month wait and people on here saying there were cars on the system I couldnt help myself with the promise of having it in under 4 weeks.

I did toy with the idea of what colour to go for for ages, and black with black was never something I thought about, s'ppose I'll find out if I like it when I pick it up

Oh, and I still have an angry wife after telling her Im no longer getting an estate, something to do with prams, buggies or pushchairs if I remember

Your right about the green it looks great and that's the colour most people think of for the vrs.I went for the red with black roof and dark chrome alloys as i don't want to attract too much attention

Green is over done the best colour in my opinion is black in the fabia VRS and the electric blue in the octy, only problem with a black furby is the never ending cleaning regime
