Speaker Adapters

Featured Replies

I'm looking to fit a set of aftermarket speakers in my vRS I've read a few threads on here where people have used golf adapters, just need to check that these don't require any modification to get them to fit?

Use MDF rings, It males the install so much easier!

Standard speakers are 130mm components. You will need adapters, the standard speakers have their own moulded in adapter. Either MDF or the Golf ones you can fit 165mm speakers. Some degree of modification or fabrication will be required in any case.

Recently, I've seen 200mm speaker adapters for sale. And an Alpine 200mm slim component kit. I've not seen/heard/read of them being used in a Fabia though.

Very minor modification isn't an issue, just aslong as I don't need to go hacking the doors like I recently had to on a Supra to allow the speakers to fit
