New superb, help with bluetooth

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just received my new 2012 Superb - and as you all know.. it's superb! I love it and more importantly - the kid adore it! they keep bragging to their friends how cool daddy's new car is :) I got "only" the 1.8TSI module - but its great.

The only thing I failed to order was the bluetooth module and know the dealer ask me for $800 to get it fitted which is outrages. As I am a DIY guy, I am looking to either fit an aftermarket product or buy the original module in ebay or abroad (I travel a lot)and have it fitted in my car.

What's the part number for the correct module for my car? I understand there are several versions.

Should I buy the original or is there an aftermarket that works better? (Parrot, Motorola, etc) I am looking for something with A2DP for music as well as a handfree kit.

Any help will be appriciated

I bet it's not that cold in Israel!!

Can't help with version numbers, but when I needed one for my Octavia, i contacted www*carsystems*pl on ebay, told him my model and options, he told me the kit to use.

Delivered 3 days later, installed and fitted without issue.

(Oh, and the built in kit it excellent...)
