is there a blanking plate that i can use instead of the cubby hole under the headunit ??? as i have just fitted the satnav and the tray wont fit back in

You could possibly buy the slide out tray that comes in the Elegance and remove the front off it which sits flush with the rest of the dash.

Ah, I see what you mean. THe thing I'm talking about is the little strip along the top of your HU. Can't help with the hole underneath though, sorry.

The blanking plate they are talking about is a strip of plastic on the top. I've not seen one for the bottom, as they all seem to have either the tray or the cubby hole.

I take it you have tried tucking all the wires out of the way to make the space for the tray to fit back in.

it wont actually fit height wise or wouldnt last night but there again it was like 10:30 ish might just have to scrape the fins off the top of the cubby hole to get it to fit im not sure

if the new HU a std DIN size (Which most are) the original cubby hole will fit or the tray. It is a bit tight...

The top trim is available from the dealer and makes it look an oem fit
