Does anyone here have a Tom Tom Yeti car icon file in red which I can use. There is one available in brown or similar but my car is red so I am using a non descript icon in red. I did consider trying to create the file myself, but became very confused, very quickly.

As promised Ken, here are the files you need.

Download iExplorer (free) and connect to your iPhone.

Navigate to the W.Europe app and find the Art\Cars folder and the Cars folder.

Drop both files into both folders and you're done.

Just select your new red Yeti for TomTom to use

These files are correct for the iPhone app (160x160 and 80x80). If you need them in a different size for your particular device, let me know

Thanks, but I don't have an I phone, I need to put these on the Tom Tom directly, either as a file I add into the folder or via their extra icons site?

graham, it's quite easy to do for the TomTom but for the Garmin you need 36 different aerial images for the 3D graphics.

for the 2D we just need 1 photo of the top view that can be rotated 10 degrees at a time.

there is a converter program that i've found to do it but where the heck do we get the pics?

what we really need is a turntable to take the pics and we could do it. any ideas? :(

Cargiant in London has one which they use to take pictures on for all their cars.

Eg: http://www.cargiant.....asp?viewtype=0

That is what you need! :giggle:

Open this image in your image editing programme of choice and save it as a bmp file.

That should work.

If it does, let me know and I'll post all the other colours
