Has anyone bought these shocks?

Featured Replies

Hi have been looking into firming up my octavia TDI without droping it large amounts, im only looking for 20-30mm drop, ideally 20mm, but need a shock that will be ideal, i.e. not bouncy, i have nearly new (6 month old monroe dampers but are unsure if these will cope with the lower springs???, im sure plenty of people have there own opinions and im all ear to any suggesions?

I have seen these on ebay, has anyone bought them?

mmm, the TDI is more nose heavy that then petrols (vRS and 4x4 being different again), therefore I would tend to avoid those.

Is there any that are designed for a TDI, and is it the shocks or the springs that would be the problem, are you saying stiffer would be to harsh? or am i reading it wrong?
