You want a baby Yeti?

Featured Replies

Hmmm

reminds me of the Alfa Giulietta only a bit taller.

pretty, in an odd sort of way :mmm:

I should imagine the interior will feel quite small and the boot space will be an od shape and not easy to use.

Not sure if i lieke it!

Think of it as a spacious coupé boys! This is NOT a Yeti replacement or competitor. This is for people bored of buying an Audi TT every year and that find the RR Evoque too pricey/big. This is a small crossover thingy. VW says it is a like the Passat CC is next to the Passat: less spacious but more stylish.

That it has a fair boot and five doors will just be a bonus to a TT owner. To a Yeti driver it will be WAY too small for sure. But I still like it. Very chunky, wide and low but also very simple. None of the streaks and lines and details the French are festooning on their cars these days.

It does however have some Infiniti FX undertones to it (albeit being squarer and a LOT smaller):

It is like an old Chrysler with 10" windows and 18" wheels, like a tank.

Suits for american taste. Hard to believe that any of the VAG-owned italian designers has involved in that.

Get it now. Think of it like a BMW X6.

I don't get the idea of a pumped up Coupe, but that must just be me :wonder:

Exactly! It is a baby X6 just MILES better looking!

Ridiculous wheels and tyres!

Show car ;) looks promising though, The carlos fandango 22" wheels and Tart's boudoir interior are unlikely to make production but a Scirocco that has been to the gym seems a good idea-not sure how much smaller it might be?

If they did launch it EXACTLY as pictured I'd jump at it ! But you KNOW that being VW the interior will be changed to look the same as every other VAG group from a Seat to a Gallardo (Aventador/Veyron the only exceptions)

I like the look of it, in reality it would never look as good. It looks similar to the Audi Q3, one of which my neighbour has just got, nearly 31k!!!

On the subject of the Infinity FX, I quite like them too but they are very overpriced. Friend of a friend is the manager in the Braehaed dealership and even with a very good discount it was still extortionate for nothing more than a sporty Datsun.:giggle:

To me looks like a TT. Only viewed on iPhone though.

Can't see the point personally. That goes for any coupe. I suppose that IS the point, that there is no point.
