Rear Head Rests

Featured Replies

I want to remove the rear seat headrests to enable the back seats to lie flat, extending the load area. Do they just pull off? I've tried but they seem to hit a stop. I don't want to break anything, so maybe I'm just not being brave enough.

At the base of the headrests where the metal legs meet thetop of the seat, there are raised plastic mounts. There is a slider on the side of these which you push in and they will release the metal legs. Lift the headrests, they should come off no problem.

Splendid, Fin - spot-on. On closer inspection the previous owner had also discovered this - one of the 'rests was on back to front.

Thanks again. That's the value of forums.
