ye i like the gold i might try get someone to photoshop a few mental colours on first n if it doesnt work still with gold

The bog standard silver doesn't draw any attention and stays clean-looking longest. Anything else like gold or copper just looks a bit barryboys in my opinion. White can look good but it can also look pants. Black or Anthracite can also look very good, but they look dirty fast and the car can look quite bland when completely free of any other colour than black.

To me black doesn't work. The car has to be spanking for them to look good, otherwise they always look darker than the paint and it doesn't look good.

Anthracite/graphite grey is where it's at! Timeless classic combo.

Has anyone done the VRS wheels in white on a black car??

Adam

Sparkly Anthracite is where it's at.

You get a nice dark wheel until the sunshine hits it and then BLING! B)

Up close.

And in the dark- almost black.

There is a black vRS with red wheels I see now and again. It looks awesome IMO. Worth considering...

At least 3 to my knowledge and one vRS SE with white 17" Spiders that were stripped off an anniversary Octavia vRS.

Cheers for the replies lads!

as much as i dont want to go antracite it just seems the easiest option...the last thing you want in the winter months is to have to clean your wheels the whole time :p

I have dished wheels for the good weather and they get enough cleaning as it is :giggle: so maybe go antracite and take the lazy option haha

anyone have pics of the vrs wheels in anthracite on a really low black fabia?

Dark wheels ftl!

Save the money on a refurb, but it towards a remap/RABR/brakes or something. They're only going to be used for a short while, and even then bombarded with salt/grit.

I like white wheels - hence my white winter wheels on a red Polo.
