Hey all, Seen a VRS for sale which has caught my eye, It has the correct wheels but they are like a dark grey colour. I was wondering were these an option when new? Or will they have been sprayed afterwards?

Any Info would be appreciated. It's an 04 plate.

Ive had two vrs fabias and ive never seen an option of different wheels. Just check that they aint full of filler or had some dodgy repair and been painted the wrong colour!!

They are anthracite refurbed alloys.

Do you think they are likely to peel or chip easy? Reckon it's worth steering clear from?

If its a good job there should be no reason to be wary. The only downside I would imagine of darker rims is kerb rash and stone chips will show up a bit easier. If it were mine, I would invest in a dark grey touch up kit for that eventuality.
