clutch dragging

Featured Replies

hey guys

when stuck in traffic if I have my foot on the clutch, in 1st and my foot on the brake if I let off the brake and roll forward the clutch will start to drag, anyone experience this before? I tried bleeding it tonight the old fashion way pump the clutch hold it down crack the nipple etc. the fluid came out very white as if it had water in it, I done this until the fluid came out normal colour. was still doing it on the way home only seems to do it in 1st, I'm gonna try pressure bleeding it tomorrow after work but dunno if this will work.

cheers for any help

felix

Pressure bleeding is the only way to do it, pumping the pedal doesnt move enough fluid to do it. It tends just moves fluid back and forth.

Ok bud I'll try it tomoz hopefully it will clear the fault, have you heard of this before?

Not on a Fabia, but I know Ali was having similar issues on a TVR Cerbera not too long ago, might be worth dropping him a line.
