Remap without DPF delete..

Featured Replies

Most of the threads i have read about remaps talk of removing the dpf. I know the remap can be done without removing it, but would the increase on torque/bhp be noticeable? Or is the dpf delete essential?

Main reason for asking is i can justify the cost of the remap without the removal of the dpf... But probably not the works.. :(

Car is an 07 octavia vrs 170pd.

Thanks in advance..;)

Cheers..

The DPF delete isn't essential by any means, and the differences on a stage 1 map are definitely noticeable

Thanks for the reply. That's good news.. :D I'm only in Lincoln, so I will come over to Mansfield after Christmas to find out what's involved and get prices etc.

Thanks for the reply. :D From what i have read shark are well respected, so I had decided if i was going to get it done it would be there. Do you get premature wear of any components with a remap?

Rich.
