Only been told by the car leasing dept at work that they have been told I should get it in January. They haven't been informed of the build week from the leasing company. I think I will be lucky to get it by March!

if bronze is terracotta orange, i saw one today at the skoda garage near me ( Germany ) it also had the sports seats ( V nice! ) and those 2 tone black and silver alloys ( not so nice! ) but it really is orange not bronze!!

I tried to order this colour unseen earlier this year, now i have finally seen one, i do quite like it!!

checked on the web, its actually listed as tangerene! but the card in the vehicle said terracotta.

I received my Yeti in November 2010 (2 months after ordering which is std over here, but we only got to choose between two options. Now you can get 4X4 too, which was not available in Israel until recently).

A photo was taken in March 2011 in "the small crater" in the Negev desert, but I cannot find out how to include a picture to my post - it appears I must upload it to the internet.

According to my license the colour is Bronze.

The car is 2x4, DSG.

The Tangerine orange colour was phased out earlier in the year in favour of the terracotta bronze wnich is a darker more brown colour.

Has anyone taken delivery of a bronze Yeti yet?? I have been told this week that mine will be with the dealer on 25th Jan and with me 5 - 10 days later. Thought I would have seen one by now. The long wait and surprise will nearly be over.......hope I like it!!!

Bugger, I wont be first by the sounds of it. Originally had provisional build week 52 last year, then week 2 and now week 7! But still waiting for firm date so could be anyones guess. Agree with what others have said, the nearer you get the harder the waiting game!

Just off the phone to SUK - mine is ON THE BOAT!! They said it move surprising quickly through the shipping process, getting on the ship the day it arrived at the port. So I can now count arrival in days rather than weeks or months (or fractions of a year!).

Been playing marine detective (for fun, I know you can never be sure). With the information that mine is currently "on the water" I have found the EMDEN and WESER HIGHWAY are both currently underway out of Emden port. The EMDEN is bound for Sheerness (ETA 24/1 18:00)and the WESER HIGHWAY for Grimsby (ETA 25/1 17:15).

I ordered my Yeti last APRIL and have been advised that it is due to star build this coming week. I originally ordered muscavado but see that the colour no longer features on the Skoda UK site. There is a similar colour on the Skoda.com site with a different name. Do you think that will be the colour I will get and is that what you mean by Bronze ?

By the way, having waited about 10 months from order to delivery (assuming it comes next month !) any views on whether Skoda would be likely to pay me compensation for the delay ?

Bronze is the replacement for Tangerine. I think Mato is the musky replacement / the same colour.

I received a "Goodwill Payment" of £300 for an 8mth wait and have opted to use it for Skoda accessories, 10mths should be double that! :yes:

I would not expect any money if I were you

But do try to persuade them into giving you some extras. So that when you come back to buy this second Yeti for your wife you will come back to the same dealer ...
