Who'll be the first to get a bronze Yeti?

Featured Replies

Good news! I too need the car more than I need the caché of a new reg. Ah well, it'll be the 'new' reg for over 2 weeks.

I really think mine has been rushed through the system thanks to my holding a Skoda courtesy car as it seems it never stopped at the port - it must have rolled off the train onto the boat! For anyone reading this with a long wait behind them, it is worth badgering your dealer and Skoda UK.

more big pic please.

Yes - it isn't as orange as I thought it would be and is somewhere between Muscovado and Capuccino. It is, if I'm honest, pale brown, but in a good way! Very happy with it so far - I have done about 5 miles and already am impressed with the ride and engine - especially the engine, which even as a newly-built unit is perky and punchy as well as refined and smooth.

The best bit I have known about for months but I have kept quiet about until it arrived - I ordered it with Onyx/silver cloth interior but Skoda specced it with Onyx Alcantara trim.... even when this was queried by the dealership they insisted it was right, so I have Onyx Alcantara with heated seats for free! And the dealer chucked in some mats too. I never pushed the purchase price hard but have come out of it with a good deal!

Wow as to the seats! They are a super scarce option in the UK as specifying full leather or Alcantara on an SE makes it nearly as expensive as just getting an Elegance which has far more toys. I really wanted Alcantara but for the life of me can't understand how you can't have this as a zero cost option on an Elegance since the full leather or Alcantara options on an SE are the same price! Doh. Have you ever seen Gobi Alcantara? Now that does look awful I have to say... but in Onyx! Ace! Like it. And for FREE!!!!!!!!! Wow.

By the way does your B-class Merc have golden wheels to match the Yeti?!?!

Brimma would LOVE that!

No, they are a particularly fetching shade of "Brake Dust Grey" - I like to pretend they're anthracite factory wheels.

thanks ,The internal decoration looks so good toooo :)

Beautiful! Congratulations.

Looks very well I particularly like the "free" interior.

Current metallic/pearlescent colours are very interesting with regard to how they look so different under varied lighting conditions. My MuscavadoYeti looks just like this bronze one in bright lighting, but quite different when the weather is dull. As commented in another thread somewhere, I chose Cappucino for my previous Octavia Scout because it had looked a super colour under showroom lighting, but I was quite disappointed with it under most normal natural light conditions.

Wow! great colour, looks like copper rather than bronze.

I don't understand how you got alcantara interior though, what did you order?

I ordered standard SE trim - Onyx/silver cloth. I don't know why I got the Alcantara either, and nor does my dealer!

Have you ever seen Gobi Alcantar? Now that does look awful I have to see...
