Anyone know if the tracking nut is supposed to be tightened after tracking has been done??

It would be dangerous to your cars health if it is not tight. Who's loosened it?

I've just found out that my local tyre fitters have supposedly not been tightening my tracking after it's been adjusted, hence why I've had the tracking done 4 times this year and have now got fecked tyres.

It's only that a friend told me to try somewhere else, so I did and they asked 'who the f uck done this tracking for you?' Hence them telling me it's wrong what the previous garage is doing to people.

Its a safety issue and I would take bills for previous job to garage that done the job and ask them for refund plus contribution for new tyres - what a monkeys!! :dull:

Hope they are not part of "Good Garage" scheme.

personally id say you have got away lucky with that one, could of easily gone very wrong very fast!

is it same bloke who did your car everytime?

Yep, same bloke. They're a new family business but use to own tyre garages years ago.

Just found out today of another person who's had dodgy tracking by them and other people telling me they are known for letting people down with s h I t poor service.

well first time thing is first go see him and see what he has to say for himself, never knew he could see the error of his ways and have it sorted
