Still room searching, the room on scoobynet had gone. Looks like room booking on the fly as they say. There a a few B&B type places on the B412 towards the autobahn, guess I will have to drop in friday pm.

Aha,

Yes the guide is essential for 1st timers. although it is difficult just to look at the guide on its own having never seen the track.

I guess me and Jon could take some of you round to show you what it's like although I am much slower than jon due to standard brakes and suspension.

More than happy to take people round in mine or theirs, or if they want to follow me, that's fine as well.

Jon, where's that route to Nurburg? Can you email me before 3p.m. or else bring a copy for me on Friday morning please?

Twas an interesting drive back though, left Nurburg @ 0400, got to the Tunnel @ 0750, clutch only used to pull away from standstill, drove home picked up some spare clothes, drove it down to Bristol for 1400, dealer started work on it straight away, needs the above bits (cheers Paul), should be back on the road tomorrow, oh and they are fixing the thermostat at the same time.

Had a good time, even though it was frustrating due to the above failure late on Saturday.
