hi all im trying to determine the trim of my 2004 fabia 1.4 16v 55kw 75 bhp euro import . i have no idea what trim it is i need to know for insurance purposes anyone know if this might be a elegance , comfort or classic i looked in the manuel and on the certificate of comformity and it says no where only on the sticker in the boot it says skoda fabia (clas) anyone have any idea if this could mean classic any help would be good and its a bby engine .

Sounds like a Classic. Other option is to ask a dealer.

I am sure my superb elegance says Superb (ELEG) in the boot so another vote for classic.

A dealer should be able to tell you if you ring up/pop in with the VIN and ask.

1) on front wing beside/in front of drivers door there's a symbol - mine says "Classic" .Also ,mine is 2004 1.4 TDI classic , which at that time didn't have central locking or warning lights working on the front doors . It also has no rear speakers .Considering that most firms spec TDI a bit higher than petrol models ,might give an idea .

I have been comparing the service book labels for my 2, one classic, one comfort. On the RHS of the label it has CLA for the classic and COM for the comfort. In the boot label on the classic it has CLAS in the same position so I think you have a classic.
