New Octavia vRS Owner

Featured Replies

Hi all, As of yesterday I am a Octavia vRS owner so I thought i'd better introduce my self. My names Howard and I live in Essex. Two weeks ago a I sold my 280 bhp 2006 Vauxhall Signum 2.8T V6 as I needed to raise a little cash towards a house purchase. I'd always quite liked the Octi vRS as they're a bit of a Q car in my eyes. I joined on here a good few months back originally on the hunt for a Fabia vRS but i'm a petrol head at heart and common sense prevaled lol. I came across a beautiful looking vRS in the for sale section and fell in love, So her it is my new Corrida vRS

The car allready has a stage one map, cold air induction and forge dv fitted, which I thought was a good place to start. The car also has a few little niggles that i will hopefully be getting sorted over the next month or so.

Some pics of my old Siggy for anyone interested

Welcome, and good choice on the colour!

The pic of the Signum makes me shudder....I foolishly offered to fit a Parrot kit for my old neighbour who has one...wish i hadn't bothered now! Worst access, impossible radio cage and now the climate doesn't work properly!

LOL, but the V6's are quite nice even if they do have a griffin on the front.

Hi and welcome aboard.

Thanks for the welcome guys, to be honest the 2.8 t Siggy is an amazing motor especially when mapped as mine was just tonnes of effortless power thanks to 350 ft lb of torque. But £460 a year tax is a big killer and needs must so she had to go. Looking forward to getting some mods done on the Octi. First up will be power flex dog bone mount along with some new wish bone bushes is they are knocking badly. After that will be the n249 bypass to try and smooth out the boost a bit.

Hello there Porkballs29 and welcome along
