which tyres

Featured Replies

I need new tyres. I've got avon zz3 205 50 17 at the moment, for my mk1 vrs octy, but I can't seem to find any more. I'm looking at zv5s.

Does anyone know if Avon have stopped making this zz3 size?

What are peoples thoughts on zv5s?

Thanks

Not sure about Avon Tyres, but sling 225/45/17's on!! Better and cheaper than the OEM 205/50/17's.

I swear by Pirelli P Zero Rosso's. Expensive, but well worth it!!!

Falken fk452 are good tyres quite a few people on here recommend them

I have matador MP46's on the front of mt vrs and they seem quiet good for 80quid a corner in 205/50/17

I found zz3 to be a poor tyre anyway. Used to get them cheep from furrows. I could spin wheels in 1st 2nd and 3rd in the dry.

Got Dunlop SP sport maxx on the front, once heated up they seam to be a good tyre not a bad price either.

if you find any good deals let me know. I've finally worn out the Nexen ****e on the front that came with the car two years ago.
