Ecs N75 race valve

Featured Replies

Fitted a ecs n75race valve today, after reading some reviews I wasn't expecting much but after fitting it ,the car has got so much more pull in any gear, the turbo peaks a little higher at about 1.4bar but it holds 1.2 until about 5000rpm where it drops to about 1 bar, where as before it would hold around 1.1bar.Ive herd this valve is a bit picky on which type of remap the car has but on mine it works better than I could have hoped :)

race valve my arse, its just an older type of valve that doesn't respond as quick as the proper one hence the extra boost. I wouldn't fit one.

Then don't! However I did and it worked so I'm happy at Christmas!

Lol it creates a boost spike so it feels good but not a good idea !!!! It's actually the same valve fitted to the k04 cars lol so you could have brought it for half the price!!!

Boost spiking like yours is now doing tends to result in fecked turbo

its made it spike 0.1 bar more then before,so hardly massive!its was remaped nearly six years ago(longer than must have had ther cars)and going strong ! Also mines a 75H the ko4 uses 75j i think. Happy christmas!

Okay you know best ;-) enjoy it

Very true Clive....

Still, it is called a 'race' valve so It's got to be good...... :giggle:

A little KO3s turbo peaking at 20psi WILL not last, I promise you. The OEM N75 is there for a reason. You can get 250bhp for a few seconds if you give it enough boost, but does that make it good??? I think not.

You will be boosting the $h!t out of your car for very little gain. I'd replace the original one if it were mine.

Just my opinion. Merry Christmas.
