Ordered my replacement Superb Combi in Early September. Candy White, TDI 170PS DSG, Panoramic Sun Roof, Upgraded Sound,Onyx Leather, Electric Tail Gate Ventilated Seats, Dipping Rear View Mirror, Heated washers, Park Assist and Hill Hold, Multi Function Steering Wheel with Paddles, and Sunset Tinted Glass.

Expected delivery was scheduled for the end of January 2012. I went into the dealer on Christmas Eve and there it was. He is well aware it is not required until the first of March. After reading all the delays people are experiencing four months doesnt seem to be that bad considering the spec I ordered.

Anyway it gives me time to get the wheels Powder Coated High Gloss Graphite Grey and to have the brake calipers painted Red.

Yes I have ordered the Spare Wheel. Thermisto style as before but I notice they are fully painted this time with no machine turned finish. This does not matter as they are going to be powder coated in a 100% Gloss Graphite Grey similar to the ones I picked up on EBay which I had renovated. These are currently shod with Avon Ice Touring tyres which I reccomend.

The Brake calipers were removed at the dealers when the car was new and had two coats of Halfords Brake Caliper Paint. May try another make(Foliotec) next time which may be more durable as it is slowly coming off. Link attached showing the rims, Brake calipers and tyres H/W.
