Flash of I pad 2

Featured Replies

So disappointed that my I pad doesn't support flash player , have looked about at various apps etc but the all seem to get bad reviews any one got a decent flash player for I pad

As far as I know it just doesn't support Flash because Apple have decided not to work with Flash, as a result various sites have produced their own app to gain Ipad/Iphone compatability. Not sure about Apps to permit flash content in Safari.

Did read somewhere not that long ago that Adobe were discontinuing further support or development for Flash (sure the Apple stance was a factor).

Adobe have now stopped developing flash on the mobile platforms, so it wont be long before it also disappears from Android as well. With HTML 5 there are much better less battery consuming alternatives.

One of the main reasons Apple did not use flash was to stop online game playing, on flash sites thus bypassing the app store.

Cant say I miss flash too much on the iPad. Just find a new porn site that is a bit more modern.

And that Steve Jobs was a monumental twunt ;)

Just a shame Android apps are still gash else they would be an iPad rival. :|

Hahaha! Quality!

flash doesn't work on any apple devices, if I remember correctly apple and flash don't get on and they decided not to work together! However, I could be wrong!

Same here, no issues with using the net on my iPad. I had a play with a mates samsung tablet, crashed more times than I could count in an evening.

A mate of mine has an ipad and is always moaning that the BBC news site doesn't work properly.... I think it is the videos he's talking about. Not sure what the problem was with the samsung, and I've had my xoom for three months now and it hasn't crashed once. :-)

Flash is yesterday's technology now, most websites are adopting HTML5 which the iPad DOES support.

Most websites do work on my iPad. but the thing I do on mine is login to a proxy on my home computer using remote desktop, that way I can access all my files and music and flash works perfectly, just have to remember to switch the computer tele off otherwise anybody watching will see all my porn sites I visit :wonder:
