Whens the right time to stop modifying your car?

Featured Replies

As per the post title, I have modded mine quite a bit now, and I think I have achieved what I intended which was the sleeper effect, I now find myself wanting to lower it and tint it but SWMBO has other ideas and I can't help but think buying a house is slightly more important.

Is there a good half way house where you think, ok enough's enough?

If I find it, I will let you know :)

If someone wearing a track-suit and a Burberry cap comes along and says "wicked, nice motor mate,' then you've gone too far

Thats the thing, i'm gradually creating a fast road car and tbh im missing the point a bit surely?

Economic diesel with 5 doors but nippy is what it should be, not tyre thrashing 0-60 in 6.5 seconds, cornering on a par with a Lotus Elise and any ounce of economy lost because im thrashing it that much...

When you run out of money, thats the answer. :D Or, when the :D factor whilst driving is pretty much maximised.

HTH.

Anyone else thought about this? ;)

Modded it 'quite a bit'.

A remap and filter is 'quite a bit' is it?

NO its not, give you missus a slap and tell her to stop being so stupid, you need to elevate yourself in the esteemed rankings of Skoda so tell her its essential that you carry on.
