A TYRE post! :-) Yoko Parada Spec 2

Featured Replies

Have them on the front of the mongrel now. Only in 205/40 R17 form which has one downside in that the tyre looks a bit stretched. However, grip appears pretty good - gave it a couple of seriously tight (at slower speed) turns and it felt the same, if not slightly better, than Toyos ever did. Admittedly it is bone dry here, and for the time of year "warm" - Just going to have to take it easy when it rains as I gather this is where these yokos can be a bit sketchy. Can't be any worse than barely legal Toyos with scrubbed out inside edges

They are supposed to rock on dry days, even damp, but just not cut water.... nearly bought these many times... let us know how you get on :)

Well, after a good hoon around Devon with the Pistonheads crew yesterday I have to say in the dry these tyres are IMMENSE! I would say a step up from Toyos for sure. Even on roads where it was still damp from recent rain (but not standing water) grip was still good.

However, I shall be keeping a wary eye out for those heavy rain conditions, and ensuring I don't explore the limits too far. ;)

Have we got an update in rainy conditions yet fella?going to be ordering these soon I think. U get then from blackcircles??I'll be getting same size etc for spiders

Got these on my Fabia vRS. Pretty scary IMO when you have a few 100 torques going through them.

Think I'm going to go for four of these for my Spiders, as iv had the Toyo Proxes before and also Pirrelli P Zero Neros too. So fancy something different.

Wet grip is OK, but then in the wet its not the time to be pushing it is it? :D They are definitely not dangerous anyway. Dry grip is still very good though, and I have pushed that a bit on the odd roundabout to see when understeer starts to show itself.

Cool Jason, I dont drive quickly in the wet anyways, they sound good to me. Iv ordered four should be here next week ;-)
