Today saw a trip to see Rob at W8 performance to get my 2002 Octy VRS mapped. Wow what a transformation ! Rob at W8 being the authorised SHARK dealer in Kent. The simple process took in all about 30 mins and included reading of my ECU which was then emailed to SHARK HQ who after a very short time emailed back the stage 1 map.This was then downloaded to my ECU and job done. The standard map is held with W8 and also at SHARK should I ever need to revert back to standard. Out on the road saw an immediate improvement in throttle response,torque and power. The 30 minute drive home turned into an hour. I'm still grinning! Thanks Rob and also to Ben at SHARK for the speedy email of the modified map.

I really don't know what boost and power figures are for the stage 1. You would be better off talking to W8 performance or SHARK directly. All that I can say is I'm more than happy with the work carried out.

You brought a map and you don't know what its meant to be boosting or what power it should be running!! Surely there things you would want to know???

If you visit shark's website they state the gains they'd expect to see.

Figures are a benchmark sure but it's real world driving that gives the true picture. Results are amazing not having to rev the engine so much with much more increased torque. And obtaining figures from a rolling road session wouldn't give a true indication of actual drivability.
