Octavia 4x4 gear stick surround / frame

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I have recently acquired an Octavia 1.8T 4x4 estate and I'm just trying to finish off some snagging items.

I'm looking for, but cannot find, the gear stick surround/frame in plastic as the one on mine has snapped and come loose.

Is there anywhere where I can get this part, it's for a 2004/54 model.

The only ones I can fine are chrome, and I'm not that flashy.

Cheers

Anyone?

is this the bit that goes inside the gaitor?

if not do you mean the bit the gaitor fits into that pushes into the centre console, the bit on display?

Usual place to try for trim is the dealer...or ebay

Though i might have a standard black gaitor surround somewhere, i will look!

if you can get hold of a chrome one you could sand it back and paint it any colour you want! be good for a custom styling tweek

I dont think there is any difference the fact that its a 4x4 as i have the same car so any skoda octavia one would do but as said its just looking for the correct trim colour. My gaitor is seperate from the plastic panel which I have just vinyl wrapped brushed steel and the centre consol too :smirk: which is always another option if you don't get the correct colour. I got the wrap for around £10 which is enough to do most of the interior if I wanted to.

I think the bit that goes inside is OK, it's the outer plastic part the gaitor fits into. ebay isn't listing any, and I think the dealer may bend me over! :-$

i have one, found it today for you, its black and is a stock part, as said 4x4 makes no difference this is an oe octavia part, will pm you
