Looks like the Roomster MKII is getting a facelift to match the VisionD

Featured Replies

Looks just like the mk1. I thought the mk2 was to be more like a Touran?

These fotos are rather old. Check here http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/175524-roomster-rs-on-the-way/page__p__2123262__hl__roomster+rs__fromsearch__1#entry2123262

And by clicking http://www.auto.cz/skoda-roomster-nova-designovych-vystrelku-62560/foto?uid=4ea503465d8a6 we can see fotos of the new Roomster which seems to me like VW Touran having a Concept D Facia and a sliding rear door.

I don't think that Roomster Identifier should be used for the car above. I think its a brand new model, in a brand new (for Skoda) category. I think Roomster (pre and facelifted) is a unique car having its own design character which you either love or hate and in both cases makes heads turning. On the other hand is marketing, development (or exelixis in my language) and a whole world keep moving forward.

Thanks for the reply but the test bumper looks completely different...so I believe they may well facelift the fabia and roomstrr 1 more time for the 2012 badge launch...because the superb and Octavia look like there getting a facelift too...

Well time will show... or... Skoda.

But lets keep in mind that in many cases design and reality are separated by sea. Such as Yeti designs and final product, Roomster designs and final product, Tudor designs, there were two images - photos - photoshop what ever, and no final product etc.

So time will show.

I got my copy of Skoda Magazine (the Finnish magazine issued by Skoda) and there were images of a Roomster with new looks. It's also available online Here. The text is in finnish but the images speak for themselves (pages 4-13 are Roomster related. Unfortunately at least the Finnish importer has dropped the DSG option for Roomster for this year :( , and I am not sure if this is only a Finnish decisions or VW deciding to downgrade the Skodas (DSG is no longer available for Fabia as well, only for the RS model)

off topic :

That magazine is fantastic.

Don't know much about the facelift, but the original article made me laugh. If I were publishing on the internet, I think I'd use a spellchecker....
