intake question

Featured Replies

Hi all I would really like some help with this.

Now i am thinking of putting a piper cross Viper induction on my fabia but, i was wondering if there is much difference between a viper induction and a Forge intake. but the intake is for 1.4 TSI, and incase you haven't noticed i know cack all about engines and intakes ect.

so if anyone could shed some light i would be appreciated

thanks

being realistic, its not really going to be worth the amount you spend for the little gains. If you want the noise and 'similar minimal gains', find a cone filter and stick a heat shield on it.

If you want substantial gains (without breaking the bank on turbos etc), take weight off. Im on 16s now opposed to 17s because I like the little extra kick up the backside with better mpg.

Difference between a Viper and Forge?

Viper will more than likely have a better filter.

This is what I did to my engine.........Green cotton twister enclosed cone filter.....then got various bracktes, adaptors, hose etc and made up a full Cold Air Intake system..........now 5 to 6yrs old!..... B)
