Sunday drive will be, round trip from Minehead, roughly 40 miles, with Minehead being 40 miles from Brean. Add on roughly 20 miles to get back to the M5 near Bridgwater, and you're probably looking at 100 miles all-in from Brean in the morning, back to the M5.

Who's loaning me a floor then? I'd prefer being on a floor/airbed as I can stretch out. I never want to have to go in one of those tiny beds - not a comfy sleep for someone 6' 1"

same here Neo, theres no panic buying up here in the lakes, but I'll on;y just make it to brean on a tank.... someone will have to sell me fuel when I get there, or I'll be hitching a lift! (or knicking Ash's "slowda" as she calls it )

I wouldn't joke about it, our local shell garage hasn't had fuel for over a week.

Hope they have open top double decker down there.

the only stuff at our shell is v-power dosent really affect me because that is all it runs on but other people are shelling out for it at 147.9 in there fiestas etc. and also who isgoing down friday?

Just filled up, so now have a nice full tank, Google maps says my return trip is just over 400miles.

So will still have diesel left when i get home.

Youll have to let me know what the deal is with fuel.. might have to take the hit and get raped at a motorway services on way down sat morning.

Well given my average tank lasts 200miles@22mpg - on mway i *might* just scrape 30mpg which will give me about 1/4 tank by the time i get to weston - i will definately need to fill up before we go yomping off to the cider farms.

Unless fuel is plentiful by saturday - im not sure ill be attending the sunday hoon.
