Afternoon,

Recently purchased some 312mm S3 callipers and carriers as an upgrade for my Fabia but they are missing the guide pins and guide pin bushings.

I've priced these up at TPS and with discount they're coming in at £120 including new seals as well.

251 615 219 guide pin x 4

4D0 698 647 guide bushing x4

3A0 698 471 set of seals x2

What I'd like to know is can I use the guide pins [sliders] from the 288mm callipers/carriers on the 312mm set-up to save my pocket?

Many thanks for this folks I hope that I can manage to save a bit of cash.

EDIT: the guide pins and bushing are parts 3 and 15 respectively in the diagram below.

Only way to be sure is to cross reference the part numbers. I for one don't know, but wouldn't risk it unless part numbers are the same.

The version of ETKA I have doesnt have Skoda installed on it, do you know what VW/Audi use the same standard brakes as the VRS? Golf PD 130?

I'm certain the sliding pins on the 312mm are longer
