Glow plugs ? -anyone give a suggestion /

i would say one of 2 things,

1 glow plugs

2 thermostat

in order of expenses i'd go for:

1. diesel filter (u've done this one)

2. glow plugs

3. injectors

seen this happen about a month ago since it's gotten colder. went all the way to the injectors (2 faulty).

Also check with a voltmeter that you are getting a 12V supply at the glow plugs for the few seconds after switching on (only when the temperature is below about 5C).

The supply is switched by a relay and this can fail.
